Mr. Frank Fiorillo, Jr.

CHIEF FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Frank comes to us with extensive Flight Instruction Experience. After serving in the US Air Force for 8 years, He continued in the Aviation field as a Business owner and Flight Instructor.  We are happy to have Frank join our team here at Clearwater Aviation. He’s ready to fly, when you are!

Mr. Cory Merino

CFI

Cory became passionate about flying at a young age. His grandfather, who was a pilot, exposed him to the thrill of being up in the air. Cory was born and raised in the Central Coast of California where he received his Private Pilot Rating, Instrument Rating and Commercial Rating. Recently he moved to Florida where he completed his CFI training with us here at Clearwater Aviation. Cory will not only instill his students with the proper knowledge and skills needed to become a successful pilot, they will also catch his contagious enthusiasm for the profession.

Mr. Alex 'Stash' Castacio

CFI / CFII

Alex has been Passionate about flying since early childhood; after retiring from a successful 22-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps, he decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a professional pilot. He began his flight training in Houston, TX where he completed his PPL, and then moved to the Clearwater, FL area to complete the remainder of his training. As an instructor, he aims to not only pass on the required knowledge and skills for his students’ success, but also his passion and enthusiasm for flying.
